5 tips for improving your Hebrew

Maximize Your Learning Potential with Our Tips

Improving your Hebrew takes time and dedication, but with these five tips, you'll be well on your way to speaking and understanding Hebrew more fluently:

  1. Read as much Hebrew as possible. This will help you with vocabulary and grammar. Recommended websites: simaniyanews.com , hadshon.edu.gov.il , yansh.co.il .

  2. Listen to Hebrew music, news, and podcasts to improve your listening skills. Be exposed to Hebrew passively and actively. Watch TV shows, movies, and videos in Hebrew to get used to the language.
    Few recommended Israeli singers: Gidi Gov, Carolina, Keren Peles, Aya Korem, Alon Eder, Evyatar Banai, Nasrin Kadri, Nunu, Berry Sakharof, Omer Adam.

        3. Beauty Queen of Jerusalem – מלכת היופי של ירושלים

3.   Speak Hebrew as often as possible with a native speaker or language partner.

There some sites you can use to find a language partner, such as: Italki.com , talkpal.ai

4.   Write in Hebrew every day, even if it's just a few minutes. 

Suggested subjects to write about: daily journal of feeling, activities, food.

A Sad (or Happy) Day in Life, First Day in…, A Character from a Book ,Movie or TV Program, An embarrassing/dangerous/special experience.

5.  Practice every day HOWEVER YOU CAN, even if it's just for a few minutes. With some hard work and determination, you'll be speaking and understanding Hebrew in no time!
